Mt Everest PeakThis year, one of my goals like most people who start off the new year is to eat healthier and exercise more. In reality, is that one goal or two? Does it matter?

Goals in life are important. Goals keep us on track to where we want to go in life and what we want to achieve.

If you think about it, even God had and has goals. God had a plan to bring the Israelites out of Egypt. He also had a plan when He created the heavens and the planets (earth).

The only difference between when God and I make plans and sets goals is that God keeps his goals and promises. I, on the other hand, have a harder time keeping and reaching my goal(s).

It’s not anything in particular that keeps me from reaching my goals. It just those distractions in life.

You know the ones like work, job, and other activities. If you’re like me, it’s hard to get back on track if you miss a day. It’s like medication. If you miss a time you’re suppose to take a medication, then it hard to get back on the track.

The best way to reach your goals is to have a routine or doing something at the same time to reach your goal. Whether, it’s getting up earlier in the morning or setting an appointment that ensures that you reach your goal, you can reach you goal(s).

You just have to believe that anything and everything is possible. Have faith. It doesn’t happen overnight in most cases. Sometimes, it takes time. When I say time, I mean a long time as in years.

What goals are you trying to reach in 2016?
