Thanks for Thanksgiving

thanksgiving-2Life passes by quickly.  Sometimes it’s so quickly that we often don’t have to look in the review mirror to reflect those important moments.
As I’m writing this, it’s the week of Thanksgiving.   I remember Thanksgiving holidays growing up in Kentucky.  Usually, we went to my grandparent’s house on Thanksgiving.  Of course mom always cooked as well.  The smell of turkey and all the other food that would be fixed would fill the house whether it was at my grandparent’s house or my mom’s.
As I look back at those Thanksgivings, I am reminded that I have a lot to thankful for.  Too often in life, we seem too busy to stop for a moment to remind ourselves what we are thankful or grateful for.  Whether, it’s the family and friends we have to the job and career we have.   We all a lot to be
thankful for.
So, what are you thankful for?
My grandparents have long since passed away leaving nothing but memories of family getting together of days long past.  But, I can still close my eyes and see, smell, and felt those moments frozen in time within my mind.  I am so thankful for all that God has blessed me with a great family, friends, career and great relationship with Him.
I just wanted to take a moment to wish each of you a wonderful Thanksgiving.  It is after all what hope and family is about. So, take a moment and be thankful of everything God has blessed you with.
